Meet Life Coach Leslie
Leslie S. Ressler, CEC, CPA Hi and welcome to our site! I am so pleased you have taken the time to find out more about life coaching. Life coaching can help you create whatever it is that you would like to see in your life. I started my career in the corporate arena. In my last corporate position, I was the Chief Financial Officer for a Golf and Country Club Management Company. I presided over all accounting, financial and human resource functions. I was involved in and privy to many sensitive areas, especially as it related to my involvement with people. My calm and caring ways got the company and its employees through many difficult situations including the most sensitive of circumstances that affected the lives of the employees. These experiences along with a lot of my own life changes renewed in me a new sense of purpose. I left corporate America after many years of service to pursue my passion to be of service to individuals in helping them find life fulfillment and to begin creating whatever they truly desired in their lives. Although I did not understand it at the time, my corporate background has provided a backdrop for my organized and effective coaching approach. My true passion is and always was to the individuals who make the changes happen. The changes that you can experience with life coaching are truly exciting. I bring with me extensive experience both in terms of my own personal development and the experiences of others. Many people tell me how courageous I was to leave my stable position and pursue my dream to help others. You will find, as I did that when you follow the path that you were meant to follow, everything just seems to fall into place. You can begin the journey yourself whenever you are ready. Personal Information: I love working with people and watching them become who they are meant to be. So many times that person is waiting to come out and feel alive. I enjoy seeing them unfold to their true potential and not only visualize their dreams but begin to live them. I enjoy reading and writing. I am working on writing various self-help articles and plan to write a self-help book one-day soon. I am a romantic at heart and like reading and writing poetry. I love being in nature whether it’s walking or just quietly sitting with a good book and enjoying the view. I enjoy relationships and being with good friends. That to me is soul nurturing. Singing and music are my passion. I do it and listen to it as often as I can. I am married for thirteen years to my husband, Jeff and we have a wonderful son, Joseph, who is almost 10. I love them dearly and have learned so much from them. I feel so blessed to have them in my life. My father (also Joseph) died over 20 years ago and I never thought that I would again have a true family……….how wrong I was. I am originally from New Orleans and have lived in South Florida for the past eighteen years. It was always my dream to live in Florida , as I love the beach and the sunshine. We adopted my pet cat Lucian 13 years ago. He has FIV (the feline equivalent of HIV) and must stay indoors in order to protect other cats. Having him has prevented us from having others pets.
